Legislative Legislative Highlight Chief Justice Ronald George Announces Retirement

| California Supreme Court Chief Justice Ron George announced on July 14 that he will be retiring from the California Supreme Court. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger must appoint his replacement by September 16. The replacement must be confirmed by the Commission on Judicial Appointments and approved by voters on the November 2 statewide general election ballot. |
